It was originally used by French troops during the French Revolution, and later by Napoleonic infantry, artillery, and grenadiers. The sword is suitable for sabrage/Champagne sabring, and comes with an exclusive high quality scabbard specifically designed for the sabre. The sword is designed with a handle made from Zamak, a guard that is a recurve quillion, and a pommel. The sword is made by Marto of Spain, and is certified by the company to be designed, developed, and manufactured in Toledo, Spain.
